Seminar SEM: "Enabling Wastewater Reuse in Cabo Verde: The Role of Policies, Institutions, and Regulation"

We would like to invite you to join the upcoming event in the Seminar Series on Management and Systems Engineering, hosted by RCM2+ research centre at Universidade Lusófona.

The event will take place on June 27th, 2025, at 18:00 (WET|Lisbon time), in Room K4, Espaço Kuadro, with the option to attend online via Zoom.

The seminar is titled "Enabling Wastewater Reuse in Cabo Verde: The Role of Policies, Institutions, and Regulation", and will be led by Eng. Evaristo Fernandes from the Multisectoral Economic Regulatory Agency (ARME) of Cabo Verde, and PhD student at Lusófona University. This seminar will explore the critical role that regulatory frameworks, institutional capacity, and policy integration play in enabling sustainable wastewater reuse in Cabo Verde. Drawing on the current situation of Cabo Verde, recent experiences, ongoing  and potential initiatives, the session aims to foster dialogue among policymakers, researchers, and practitioners committed to resilient and circular water strategies.
