Seminar: The role of reference standards in the regulation of waste services

On November 29th, at 6:00 PM, Universidade Lusófona will host another seminar in the "Seminar Series: Management and Systems Engineering," which will take place in room K3 at Espaço Kuadro. This event aims to foster academic discussion and knowledge exchange on topics of international relevance, with this edition focusing on the regulation of waste services.

The presentation, titled "The role of reference standards in the regulation of waste services", will be led by Pedro Simões, Postdoctoral Researcher. He will discuss the essential role of reference standards in regulating this sector, addressing the challenges and opportunities that these standards present for improving the quality and efficiency of waste management services, while also highlighting their positive impact on environmental sustainability and community well-being.

The event will be held in a hybrid format, allowing participation either in person, in room K3, or online via the Zoom platform.
