In terms of teaching content, the course intends that the future Industrial Engineers acquire essential knowledge for the performance of their functions in multiple environments, both in industry and in services, hence their high employability rate.
The contents taught in addition to the basic engineering sciences, such as mathematics and physics, include business and process management, such as quality management, maintenance management, energy management, decision support systems and process optimization, simulation, assisted manufacturing by computer, mechanical technology, probabilities and statistics and final course project usually carried out in a real context, whether in a company or any other institutions such as hospitals, Research and Development Centers, both in the country and abroad.
