Students (and workers) plan their career path: Patrícia Lourenço

After a couple of years working at Fapil as Production Manager and having in count her career progression, Patrícia Lourenço made a decision: to take the Degree in ngineering and Industrial Management (IEM) at Lusófona University.

Patrícia explains her decision: "Industrial Engineering and Management degree is multidisciplinary, addressing Management and Engineering fields [...] The IEM course prepares me for the real-world challenges".

The student comments that is not easy to balance work and studies. Some times, she had to use compensatory time off in order to take classes. Besides, she had to organize work rotines and vacation time in order to study for exams.

"In addition, the support of professors has been essential, namely with regard to attention and cordial relations with students, understanding their difficulties and their integration into the university world", Patrícia concludes.

Patrícia has been showing determination, resilience and ambition to achieve her results. So far so good... we congratulate the student on her achievement.
