International speaker was invited to Organization and Business Management classes

Another international speaker was invited to do a virtual exchange, sharing his knowledge in the Organization and Business Management classes, at the invitation by professor Raphaela Vidal.

On 28 march, it took place the virtual lecture “ how to design memorable and transformative experiences” with Prof. Dr. Francisco Tigre Moura, from IU University of Applied Sciences Bad Honnef-Bonn, Germany.

With enthusiasm, Prof. Francisco Tigre kept the entire audience interested in his lecture from the beginning. He spoke about basic concepts, focusing on services, highlighting the relevance of three points: servicescapes; creating positive impacts during the service from the beginning to the end of the service and timeline. He encouraged students to reflect on the examples and It was possible interchange of ideas with students. Furthermore, the lecture was helpful for students to develop their marketing projects.

“The speaker captivated the audience very naturally [...] He made us realize how Marketing works and how human needs are used to create effective strategies. Examples were given of experiences in supermarkets, restaurants and hotels in Germany.” explains the student Maria Joana Boaventura.

Another student Miguel Figueiredo adds: “Prof. Dr. Francisco Tigre Moura shared knowledges with the audience in a special way providing a dynamic lecturing. This kind of exchange (virtual) is very importante because give us chance to know other reality”.
