Welcome activity for new EGI students

On November 12, the activity to welcome the new EGI students proposed and implemented by Prof. Pedro A. Marques took place. The students were challenged to participate in the production process of a product where the initial layout was indicated and after a few rounds of production, the students identified process improvements, the use of new tools (scissors), the bottleneck activity and realized how the layout is a vitally important element within the production process.

This activity trained some soft skills such as teamwork, communication and leadership.

The students showed interest and enthusiasm by taking part in the activity. They really got down to work!
