Training featured an innovative approach in the Master's in Engineering and Industrial Management at Lusófona University
On 3rd December, Lusófona University held the Lean Lab Workshop, an interactive event aimed at the Master's students in Engineering and Industrial Management. The initiative highlighted how gamification can transform management and promote operational efficiency in organisations, based on the LEAN LAB project developed by Leroy Merlin.
The event was organised as part of the "Lean Management and Operational Excellence" curricular unit, with the involvement of Leroy Merlin’s team. The project, which benefits from the collaboration of Lusófona University, will be formally integrated into the course content, providing students with an innovative pedagogical experience.
During the workshop, participants had the opportunity to engage in practical activities based on real-world challenges, simulating business management scenarios. The gamified approach emphasised the principles of the Lean methodology and how they can be applied to achieve operational excellence in a dynamic and participatory manner.
The involvement of Leroy Merlin brought a practical perspective to the initiative, aligned with market demands, offering students valuable insights into the application of Lean tools in corporate environments.
With this type of project, Lusófona University reaffirms its commitment to providing education aligned with best management practices and business innovation trends, preparing students to face the challenges of the job market.
