Augmented Reality Assistant for Maintenance of the Alfa Pendular Train Pantograph

Summary

The presentation addresses the integration of Augmented Reality (AR), Artificial Intelligence (AI), 3D BIM models, and maintenance management systems (CMMS – Odoo) in the context of railway maintenance. Solutions will be explored that support diagnostics and assisted interventions through BIM models, as well as the use of AR glasses to view components in a real context. The approach demonstrates how these technologies reduce errors, improve operational safety, and support technicians during inspection and maintenance activities, focusing on the case of the Alfa Pendular train pantograph.
