CATCHER Project Review Meeting

On November 18, DeepTechLab's team from the RCM2+ Research Center organized a review meeting for CATCHER at Lusófona University in Lisbon, hosting a mission of representatives of the European Union and the project's international partners. CATCHER (Creation of Innovative "Humidity to Electricity" Renewable Energy Conversion Technology) is a project funded by the European Innovation Council (EIC) and coordinated by Lusófona University.

The RP2 review meeting brought together team leaders from the consortium, two EIC officers, four scientific monitors and one Innovation Radar expert to assess CATCHER's progress. The event featured comprehensive presentations on the project’s advancements from the project's partners, including a live demonstration of the innovative device. Discussions covered its technological, environmental, and socio-economic feasibility, dissemination efforts, and innovation potential. Moreover, experts and stakeholders engaged in Q&A sessions to address challenges and review milestones, emphasizing alignment toward the project’s objectives.

The meeting culminated in a feedback session, highlighting achievements and outlining the next steps as the project progresses toward its completion in March 2026. Visit the project's website here for more information.
