Recently, Diana Jorge published a paper entitled “A hybrid metaheuristic for smart waste collection problems with workload concerns” in the Computers & Operations Research journal. António Pais Antunes, Tânia Ramos and Ana Póvoa are also co-authors of this paper.

This paper presents a hybrid metaheuristic to solve waste collection routing problems, which was applied to real-world problems with successful results.
