EVA Conference

14 October, 2024

In today's scenario, where globalization and technological progress demand increasingly specialized and relevant skills for the job market, preparing for these demands becomes crucial.

One of the fundamental steps is to invest in higher education. According to the 2024 OECD report, in Portugal, the wage gap between those who complete higher education and those with only secondary education can reach 73%. However, in addition to acquiring academic and soft skills, it is essential that students prepare themselves for the demands of the professional world from the start of their training, ensuring a more effective transition into the job market.

In this context, the EVA Office will be holding the EVA Conference on October 23rd. The event, aimed at the entire Lusófona University community, will take place in the Agostinho da Silva Auditorium, at the Lisbon University Center, between 10:00 and 12:30.

In addition to the presentation of the EVA to students, the event will include a workshop promoted by a guest company, which will provide a reflection on careers, preparing CVs and preparing for job interviews.
