Graduation project being developed at Hospital Santa Maria

Many of the problems in hospital logistics are common to those in industry. A graduation project conducted by the student Rui Moura, under the supervision of Professor Rui Assis, is being developed at Hospital Santa Maria, the largest hospital institution in the country. By employing a set of operational research tools, this project addresses issues that impact the management of queues and management control in critical contexts.
