IEFP opens applications for internships for unemployed young people

The Institute for Employment and Vocational Training (IEFP) will open a new application period for the Ativar.pt internship program on February 9. The program aims to promote the integration of young people into the job market or the retraining of unemployed young people.

The internships will last 9 months, which cannot be extended, and will take place in companies promoting the Ativar.pt program, which will benefit from financial support from the IEFP in the form of internship grants.

The internships are aimed at unemployed young people registered with the employment services. Interns will receive a monthly internship grant, food allowance and work accident insurance.

Applications must be submitted electronically via the iefponline portal.
