Lecture: How to access scientific databases

On October 17th, LabEGI hosted a lecture entitled “How to access scientific databases”, presented by Dr. José Carlos Carvalho, Director of the Vitor Sá Library. This initiative, organized by Prof. Francisco Silva Pinto as part of the Master's Degree in Industrial Engineering and Management (MEGI), provided LEGI and MEGI students with valuable knowledge for carrying out research and academic work.

During the lecture, participants had the opportunity to learn how to use essential tools to access quality sources of scientific information, facilitating the development of final projects and the production of rigorous work.

“The lecture was essential for the students, as it taught them fundamental tools for carrying out academic work and preparing their final project. The ability to navigate through these databases enriches research and guarantees the quality of the information used,” said Arisha Afzal, an EGI student.
