November 25th, National Engineer's Day

On November 25, 2023, the National Engineers' Day will be celebrated, marking the 87th anniversary of the creation of the Order of Engineers as a Professional Order and the 154th anniversary of the existence of the Association of Portuguese Civil Engineers. This year's celebrations will take place in Aveiro, between November 24 and 26, and will include the usual Magna Assembly at the Aveiro Congress Center, honoring and distinguishing Portuguese Engineers, musical concerts, cultural visits, lunches and gala dinners. This year's celebrations will be attended by a delegation from the Order of Engineers of Cape Verde, which is in Portugal for a Bilateral Summit with its Portuguese counterpart and to take part in the 4th Congress of Portuguese-Speaking Engineers, which will be held on November 27 and 28 in Lisbon.
