Open Days - Industrial Engineering and Management

Between February 19 and 20, Lusófona University hosted the Days of Science and Technologies Days, as part of the institution's Open Days. Hundreds of young people from secondary had the opportunity to visit and explore the University's facilities and laboratories, taking part in various activities and University, taking part in various activities and presentations.

The aim of the event was to publicize the University's educational and training offers Lusófona University, as well as to help guide young people who will soon be making decisions about their professional future.

As part of the Industrial Engineering and Management (EGI) course, Professor Raphaela Vidal, Science Science Manager João Tavares, Engineer João Lucas and Maria Boaventura, a 2nd year student of the EGI degree, welcomed 14 groups of students to the Pilot Industrial Unit (UIP).

The visit consisted of demonstrating some aspects of the operation, functioning and uses of the PIU. The students also attended a brief presentation of the EGI course, course, which highlighted its high employability rate, its highly qualified and experienced teaching staff and its close experienced teaching staff and its close relationship with the demands of companies and industries.
