Researcher from EIGeS participate in the 72nd International Astronautical Congress (IAC)

Maria Ferreira, lecturer in Industrial Engineering and Member of EIGeS (Research Centre in Industrial Engineering, Management and Sustainability) participate as co-author with Professor José Ferreira (Polytechnic Institute of Setubal) in the 72nd International Astronautical Congress (IAC),with their work entitled “Approaching a New Era in Orbital Debris Mitigation: A Holistic Overview of Economic and Environmental Factors”.

This global event too place in Dubai from October 25-29, 2021, and was attended by approximately 6,000 participants representing more than 160 countries.
