Students visit the Pilot Industrial Unit

On February 14, as part of the “Business Organization and Management” course, Professor Raphaela Vidal accompanied her students to the Pilot Industrial Unit, where they had the opportunity to have a practical lesson.

 

The students were welcomed by João Lucas, the engineer in charge of the PIU, who introduced them to the laboratory and explained the whole process of brewing beer. The students were very interested in getting to know the process, the equipment and understanding the technology used to control production in order to write a report on the brewing process, relating it to the concepts they had learned in class.
