Technical Facilities | EGI in Practice

As part of the Technical Facilities course unit, Prof. Alexandre Martins took first-year students on a study visit to the pilot Industrial Unit (UIP) facilities at Lusófona University, with the aim of bringing students closer to a real industrial context.

During the visit, students observed industrial equipment, technical installations and measurement instruments, gaining an understanding of the importance of technical facilities for the proper functioning of production systems. The relevance of metrology and calibration was also highlighted in ensuring measurement reliability, process quality and the overall performance of installations.
